The Symposium is being organized at the Agricultural College and Research Institute, Madurai, Tamil Nadu (India) with the support of ISHS (International Society for Horticultural Science) on December 9-12, 2011 under the theme “sustainable production, post harvest and export promotion”.
The scientific programs include four days of plenary session and panel expositions, as well as invited speeches by renowned scientists working in cashew nut. The symposium will focus on exchange of research findings, latest advancement and industrial development in the cashew nut sector. An exhibition on production equipment and technology will be held simultaneously.
The INC will be represented by Pino Calcagni, INC Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Scientific and G. A. Committee, who will give a presentation about cashew nut market trends.
